Meet the make-up artist – Part 3
Our third and last setup was a little more daring than the last two. We tried to change the lovely sweet Sofie into an sadistic nurse. Appearantly it is very hard to make a ‘vicious’ photograph of Sofie. Even with all that make-up and blood on her face, she still looks sweet; I think she deserves a medal for trying so hard to be something she’s not, just to please me
Again Martine did a great job at painting Sofie and helping me find the right artistic feel I needed. I just had to utter the words blood and scalpel or she would be on her way of finding both of them and adding them to the setup.
This is the last post about this shoot and I want to take the oportunity to thank both Martine for her help and creative input that made this shoot work, and my beautiful wife Sofie for her willingness to spend hours in the make-up chair just to help me out. Thank you both very much!
DPS Contest – Follow Up
Digital Photography School contest I entered are in! Sadly I did not finish among the first three, but I’m still real glad I entered
This has been an enormous learning school for me and I’m happy with all the new exciting things I’ve experienced while working on this shot.
They always say “competing is better than winning” – although winning can be fun from time to time.
